It has wood-beamed ceilings and elegant country-style furnishings. We will remember our stay at La Grancia forever. Cartelli and Franco were warm, friendly and so hospitable. We did not want for anything more. The apartment with a garden view exceeded our expectations. It is charming, cosy and very well equipped. We looked forward to our breakfast every morning, a real treat! The attention to the details made our experience rather unique. We will surely recommend La Grancia to anybody interested to stay and we also hope to return one day.

Agriturismo Villa Guarnaschelli is a 17th-century villa set in the hills around Florence and offers panoramic views from its tower and courtyard. The garden features the villa's original stone olive press. The lady that checked us in was so sweet and friendly (thank goodness for her app to translate) - she also made the lovely cake that was served at breakfast! Also, the waitress who served breakfast was very helpful (excellent English). Lots of choice at breakfast. The animals outside are great fun and really the main reason I booked this particular property! About 15 min drive into Florence. Although the property is in the middle of nowhere, our SatNav (GPS) took us straight to the door.

The farmhouse is run by a young Italian couple and has been carefully restored to offer a swimming pool and Tuscan restaurant serving traditional cuisine and a wide range of wines. The estate also contains a charming living room with a fireplace and 3 dining rooms furnished in a country style according to the owners’ creative tastes. Amazing place to escape the rush of the city! Not far from Florence. We enjoyed the spa, local food and especially the aperol. Great view and nice pools. The staff was very attentive as well.

The private and public spaces were so beautiful and tastefully designed that we felt like we were staying in the pages of a magazine! It being springtime, the grounds were also beautiful, lush with wildflowers and singing birds and frogs. We also really enjoyed: the homemade breakfast buffets, the peacefulness and privacy of our room, and the comfortable bed. Casalino18 is also well-located, within a 15-45 minute drive of most sites of interest in Siena province.
